Backgrounds Unlimited is licensed by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (License # PI 14266), and is wholly owned and operated by Louie A. Kemp Jr. Backgrounds Unlimited specializes in pre-employment background investigations for the private and public sector and adheres to all rules and regulations for both State and Federal government.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Backgrounds Unlimited has been conducting pre-employment background and special investigations since 1990. Its clientele includes police departments, fire departments, school districts, and private attorneys.

Backgrounds Unlimited investigations are supervised and coordinated by Louie A. Kemp Jr., whose staff includes 12 Investigators, six who are licensed investigators, and clerical staff.

Mr. Louie A. Kemp Jr. is an experienced Law Enforcement Officer. He was a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy for 32 years; 22 years as a Detective conducting special investigations, and the Operations Lieutenant and Chief of Police at Cerritos Community College for 6 years. For the past 15 years, he has served as a Private Investigator to police and fire departments, the legal community, insurance industry, and private business.
